It's the most scenic street in Granada.
It runs from the Albaycin to the Alhambra, along the river Darro, which separates both. On one side, Renaissance palaces and andalusí houses. On the other, the ever vigilant towers of the Nasrid gem. If you walk along it in the twilight, when the orange light of the street lamps makes the profiles of the river, the bridges and the palaces more captivating, your heart will beat with excitement.

Where: At one end, the Carrera del Darro connects with the Plaza de Santa Ana, near Plaza Nueva. At the other, its prolongation ends up in the Paseo de los Tristes, very pleasant also for walking.
How to get there: Buses C31, C32 and C34 stops in Darro Street.
Further info: The waters of the Darro River, which runs parallel to the street, flow under the ancestral bridges of Aljibillo, Chirimias, Cabrera and Espinosa. You can also see on its left bank the remains of the bridge of the Cadí, 11th century, which connected the Alhambra with the Albaicín neighborhood.
