CHOOSE YOUR DATES

Like the entire Costa del Sol, Malaga can boast of having an excellent climate, bright days and mild temperatures throughout the year. July and August are the “beach months” par excellence, so if you want to enjoy the rhythm of the city in a relaxed way and discover its varied offer, it is best to choose other months to visit it, even during winter (from December to March), almost with in all probability you will not need a coat.

The days of the Fair (the main festivity of the city, which is usually celebrated during the third week of August) are not the best either, unless you like crowds.

HOW TO GET By air. The Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is one of the Spanish airports with the highest volume of passenger flow and international connections. Cities such as London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, New York and Moscow have direct connections with it, which is also the main airport of and point of entry into Andalusia. In summer, in summer, there are direct flights to the Middle East.

By train. From Málaga-María Zambrano Train Station, rail network provides connections to the main cities in Andalusia and the rest of Spain. There are high-speed trains that connects Málaga and Madrid in two and a half hours, along with links to Barcelona, Seville and Valencia, amongst other cities.

By road. The road network connects with other cities throughout Andalusia and Spain as a whole. Getting here by bus also proves very easy, as Málaga Bus Station provides connections to practically all areas of Spain and all the towns and villages within the province.

FROM THERE  Malaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol, one of the main Spanish tourist destinations, a rich and diverse region that includes some places as attractive and internationally recognized as Ronda, Nerja, Mijas or Marbella. Also charming little white villages, although not so well known, as Frigiliana or Torrox… Malaga is a perfect place from which to visit all of them. Also, other important Andalusian cities such as Seville, Granada or Córdoba, which is even possible to visit in one day trips due to the good road network or even, in some cases, the high-speed train.
