Built in 1940, this small 'mezquita' stands as one of the first modern mosques in Spain. From 1950 to the early 1990s, it served as a specialized library on Islam, but in 1992 it fully resumed its function as a mosque. It is located in a lovely park (Jardines de Colón), close to the city center.
