Plaza de la Constitución,&nbsp,in the lower area of Mijas, is one of the liveliest places in the town. Here you can relax and soak up the atmosphere on one of the terraces and, hopefully, enjoy some free performances. On one of the sides of the Plaza de la Constitución is the public lift that will allow you to reach the upper area comfortably. A curiosity: the central fountain and the standing benches are carved on the large stones that carried a huge and dramatic flood in 1884.
