When: Costa Blanca is a lively and interesting destination all year round. It has a Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and hot, sunny summers. The daily average temperature ranges from about 12 °C in January and February to about 26 °C in July and August. Even in mid-winter, there are many sunny days, with daytime temperatures reaching or exceeding 20 °C, while very cold days are rare.

How to get there: You have two international airports, which are the Alicante-Elche airport and also Valencia Airport, which is close.The AVE-high speed train connects Alicante/Alcacant with Madrid in just 2 hours.To move within the region, there is a modern motorway which crosses the Costa Blanca from north to south, and a large number of dual carriageways which connect the coast with the inland in an easy, comfortable and efficient way.Another option is to use the large network of buses and trains. In addition, the tram connects the city of Alicante with Denia, stopping at the main coastal towns along the way and offering travellers the chance to enjoy some spectacular views.
