Day trip to Ronda

+ 9

The first settlers named it Arunda, the Romans, Acinipo, and the Muslims, Izna Rand Onda. It was with the latter with whom it stood out the most. The old medina is one of the best preserved in all of Andalusia. Today Ronda is recognized for its breathtaking location atop a gorge, for being the cradle of modern bullfighting, for the legends of romantic outlaws, for the fascination it exerted on Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles... It will definitely captivate you too.
