Modernist Barcelona

+ 16

Barcelona owes much of its captivating charm to Modernism, an architectural style that flourished in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This movement left a significant mark on the city, with over a hundred buildings featuring imaginative designs, symbolic elements, natural motifs, and flowing forms. These can be seen in houses, palaces, parks, shops, street lamps, and more. Nine of these structures are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Antoni Gaudí was the great master of Modernism. You’ll love it.
