Capitulares, 1, 14002 Cordoba, Spain

Rating: 3,6

(8.630 reviews)
Cordoba, founded by the Romans in the 2nd century BC, became the capital of the province of the Roman Empire. Among the most important remnants of that time, stands this temple, close to the Town Hall. It was dedicated to the cult of the Emperor, and along with the Circus Maximus, formed part of the Provincial Forum. It originally stood on a raised podium and had six free-standing Corinthian columns in the entrance.
