In Sediles, a small town in the province of Zaragoza, you’ll find a unique artisan and artistic pottery workshop. Here, Néstor Pablo Roldán, the creator of Cerámica Saedile, crafts historical ceramics by hand, specializing in Andalusi pottery—produced from the 10th century through to the final days of the Nasrid period in the 15th century. Each piece is a unique masterpiece, with intricate details that evoke the past, from decorative motifs to traditional production techniques. The renown of this talented ceramicist has led him to create pieces and collections for historical TV series, Michelin-starred restaurants, and other exceptional projects. Even if you don’t have the time or opportunity to visit this ceramic workshop in person, you can explore his creations through his online store.
