The House of Zafra

Calle Portería Concepción, 8, 18010 Granada, Spain

Rating: 4,2

(1.304 reviews)
No doubt: here lived an aristocratic Andalusí family! Today the House of Zafra (Casa de Zafra) is one of the best examples of domestic architecture in the Nasrid period in Granada (14th and 15th c.). It's located in the heart of the Albaicín, in the Axares district, where Andalusian aristocrats built their houses and mansions. It has retained interesting wall paintings, but most importantly, here you'll find the Albaicín Visitors Center, a key destination for exploring Granada’s rich cultural and architectural heritage.
